Yes, I am at 20 weeks today which means that we get to know the gender of Poppy. When I was little I knew I wanted to be surprised on whether it was a boy or girl mainly because my parents were surprised with all three of us kids. But as I got older I changed my mind. I just had to find out if I would be raising a little boy or little girl. This whole pregnancy I have known that we will find out, in fact I think I made my appointment to find out the gender immediatly after taking the first of three pregnancy tests. And then last week rolled around.....So typical of me. Now I am second guessing myself. "Ok I want to know, no dont tell me! Ok tell me. Wait, no I am not ready..." And this goes on and on in my head for as long as I allow or until I fall asleep (which is actually occuring a lot earlier than usual). Now I find myself in this semi anxiety episode that is not needed. I want to know, that is for sure, but in my own timing, like maybe 5 seconds after we leave the doctors office. With all this said, I cant tell you what we are having. Mostly because my appointment is tomorrow. But I would love to hear your guesses. Please let me know if you think Poppy is a boy or a girl.
