Forgetting that I had not yet taken the week 23 photo, I quickly had Kevin take it of me before he left for work. You will have to excuse my look of exhaustion, I am just trying to get everyone comfortable with how I will be looking in about 4 and a half months after the baby is here. Clearly, my hair and make up team did not make it to this photo shoot. And no, I am not sticking my belly out, it is just that my butt has gotten bigger. This is a typical outfit for me now a days because it is all stretchy, in fact, I am wearing this outfit right now, and I wore it yesterday.
Poppy is due in less than 4 months (hopefully). This was also my first week of summer break. Not to mention, I have not done anything in preparation for this child's arrival. So I decided to look for paint colors. They should make a hand book or a help line for this kind of thing. First let me tell you all that Home Depot is about 15 minutes away. That is not that far until you start going there daily for just one thing! I currently have 6 paint samples up on my wall which took about 4 paint trips. Of course, one color is too blue, one color is too grey, one color is not even the one I asked for and one is a combination I tried to make out of two different colors. I feel like I have done everything right. I ask for help when I am there, I paint the colors on the wall and look at them under different lighting, I watch HGTV 24/7 and take notes. It is quite frustrating. Today I decided to go by a LOCAL paint store and snoop around, well low and behold I think I found the color I like. Who knows if I really like it or not or if I am just telling myself I like it in order to be done with this process, which ever reason I don't care! Today I have preped as much of the room as I can, have Kevin move the big stuff tonight and then I hope to paint tomorrow. I just need this to be over and move on to my next project. But in all honesty, I am really excited to paint and show you all pictures of the new color. Until then, happy painting to you and yours.
Oh yes by the way, I did ask the doctor if I could paint and she said yes, as long as it was a well vented room. I didn't want anyone to worry.
