Our small group decided to go on a little trip together a couple of months ago. We knew we wanted some place warm so we decided on Palm Springs. But, the only weekend everyone could go was over 4th of July weekend. We knew that it would be hot during that time but we did not expect the 113 that it was. So we drove away from our home leaving the most perfect weather we have ever had to go to extreme heat. Surprisingly, although it was super hot, it was totally do able. There was a pool at the house we rented and a little grass area for games as well as air conditioning. What was there not to love? We spent most of our weekend in the pool reassuring Kevin and I that one day it would be great to have our own. The boys played golf, their starting time of 6:30 was not early enough to beat the heat. Again, so grateful for the pool to cool them off. In the evenings Kevin and our friend Jesse put together some Minute To Win It games. We had such a wonderful time and hope to do it again.

Daddy even let him drink out of a water bottle. I dont know if he actually drank any, whatever he did not swollow just evaporated before it left his mouth.
Why buy toys when an empty water bottle is all he needs?
