Last week we decided it was time for Mick to try some big boy food. Out came the rice cereal and away we went. His first reaction was like most of our reactions when you taste something you dont like or are unsure if you like it or not. His nostrils flared, he moved his lower lip up and down, his eyes went into a deep stare, lets just say it was really touch and go there for a minute.
After a couple of minutes he finally started to open his mouth for the spoon.
After tasting a little of the rice cereal myself, I totally understand this face. It actually taste like cardboard. I told Kevin that I would not be able to taste the difference between this and actual shaved up cardboard.
But he ate it anyway, we think. It was gone from the bowl, it was not all on his bib and his face, so we are assuming he swallowed most of it.

He's getting to be such a big boy!!! Rice cereal is pretty boring :) Let's go walk soon--Maui is creeping up on me!
