First off, go get this book!
Safely Home by Randy Alcorn will rock your world. It was recommended to me by my brother Adam and it is awesome. It is about the persecution of Christians in China and about what God is doing. My relationship with the Lord has changed after reading this. It is a powerful story and I encourage everyone to read it.
My Lulus

I wear these pants 8 days a week. They are great for travel, working out, watching TV and dusting. These pants are so comfortable. After getting these pants from Lululemon I hardly ever wear jeans. I wear them so much I am even trying to dress them up so I can look nice in them and not look like I am wearing workout pants. Nobody buys it, but I do. I love these pants!
The Mixer

I Shouldn't Be Alive

Studs

I got a pair of these studs from my sister in law, Alyssa, as a gift for being in her wedding. I ultimatly won in the long run for getting her but for the sake of this post we will talk about these. I love these earrings. I can wear them to the store or out to dinner with Kevin. These are the first earrings I go to when looking for a pair to wear with an outfit. I love them and thing everyone should have a pair.
Fresh Baked Cookies with Milk
I love me some fresh baked cookies with a big glass of cold milk. I will make cookie dough, roll it into balls and then freeze them so that whenever I want a couple of fresh cookies I can just take out as many as I want, bake them, and enjoy them. Honestly, there are very few desserts that are better than the classic warm chocolate chip cookie. MMMM!

Oh my gosh! The Biggest Loser! I am usually watching this while eating my fresh baked cookies. This show is life changing. Overweight people go on this show in hopes of losing the most weight and becoming the biggest loser. There is a person voted off once a week. By the finale you are emotionally attatched to these people, cheering them on and hoping for the best. There are obstacles, challenges and game playing. Oh it is so good!

Well these are just a couple of the things I love. I know there are more but I cant think of them right now. Maybe I too will have an Amber's Favorite Things Part II.
Making cookie dough and freezing dough balls? GENIUS. People seem to call me on Sunday night around 8 because they know that I've got some freshly baked goodies. This is because I'm a dough-lover. If nobody else is home sometimes I eat the dough and never make the cookies. That's right, when nobody else is home so they don't know what a fatty mcfatfat I am. But pulling a dough ball out of the freezer??!? Now you've got my attention.
ReplyDeleteWow. Where do I start!
ReplyDelete1. I am real excited that I "know, know" you bc I could have listed most of these things that you LOVE!
2. I also love a lot of the same things right now... so perhaps we should do them together.
3. Your kitchen aid is really getting some good use... I made your pound cake recipe last night-- totally a hit. Also struggled and failed to get mine out of the pan.
4. Honored to get a shout out. And so glad you love the earrings.
5. Biggest Loser... don't get me started. You know how I feel. I think we should bet on who will win?! Thoughts?
